Creative Companionship™ uses activity as a pathway to something deeper: meaningful social and emotional connection. Each session is thoughtfully guided and relaxed to give participants to think, respond, and share—without pressure or correction.
After a decade of working in senior living, I transitioned to serve as Director of Certifications for Teepa Snow's Positive Approach to Care™ from 2013 to 2017, leading the development of her certification programs. I also completed advanced training with Teepa, which profoundly shaped my approach to supporting families, caregivers, and care partners.
Through my work with clients—as well as with my own family—I’ve seen that people living with dementia are capable of far more than we realize. When we meet them where they are, instead of where we wish they could be, the relationship improves and care becomes easier.
Creative Companionship™ is offered in partnership with select senior centers and senior living communities, bringing thoughtful, relationship-centered experiences to the people who need them most.
